Soyeon is an artist, designer, and HCI researcher who believes that interactive design can meaningfully enhance people's lives, perceptions, and experiences.

Her work focuses on two areas: healthcare UX design and immersive 3D interactive experiences that use storytelling to support learning and cultural understanding. Her research explores how technology can help people engage with overlooked histories and how human-centered healthcare technologies can support long-term engagement and emotional well-being.
Her work involves prototyping interactive experiences, exploring AI as a tool for design and prototyping, and conducting user studies and evaluations focused on learning and well-being.

She is currently pursuing an MFA in Digital Media & Design at the University of Connecticut (2027 expected to graduate), where she teaches undergraduate students and conducts research at the intersection of interactive media, UI/UX design, and Human-Computer Interaction. She earned her BFA in Film & Animation at the Hongik University.
